Focus Training was established in 1991 to address the growing demands for specialised training and development within the Service Industry.



Its Mission was:-

“To provide quality training and development to the Service Industry by focusing on the personal development of the individual, in order to help them realise their potential, and thus attain team and company objectives.”

We have considerable experience in writing and running development programmes that are tailored to suit individual customer requirements.

One of the major criticisms of training is that it is often “too general” and “it doesn’t fit our needs”. At Focus Training we ensure these criticisms do not apply. We endeavour to work closely with our clients over a period of time in order to deliver the right level and quality of training. The programmes we put together are based upon detailed discussions, field trips, and questionnaire feedback. In this way, we can establish a clear understanding of the client, the market they operate in, and the particular challenges and opportunities they face.

Our programmes are designed to meet the needs of companies which view training as a strategic and essential investment from which a measurable return is required.

The field service industry in the U.K. has experienced dramatic growth in recent years, bringing with it new jobs, new opportunities, and new and ever more complex pressures. To meet these challenges, Focus Training is committed to the concept of the continuing professional education of service personnel, hence the development and tremendous success of our 3 module service management programme “The Effective Service Manager”.
