 Personal Action Plans

Fundamental to Focus Training philosophy is the Action Plan. Every delegate is tasked with creating an action plan upon the completion of each module. The action plan is based upon any new skills, knowledge, attitudes or approach that would enable the delegate to become more effective in the workplace.

Each delegate is responsible for the implementation of their action plans before the next module in the programme. At the beginning of each subsequent module, the delegates are expected to give a short presentation to the rest of the group as to the success or otherwise of their individual action plans.

In support of each delegate, we personally follow up with them and also their immediate line managers.

We believe that training is not an end in itself, but a means to achieving improved business performance. Only if the skills an individual has acquired are implemented successfully will this be achieved. Many companies leave this to chance - we don’t.

We commit to our part of the relationship in delivering the training. In return, to ensure long term development, we also expect total support from companies we work with in creating an environment wherein each delegate is actively encouraged and supported in the implementation of their action plans.
