Born and raised in Blackburn, Lancashire as one of six children, Brian quickly learned two of life`s key lessons:
#1 First up was always best dressed!
#2 When it was bath night using a tin bath, you really didn`t want to be last in line!
Brian`s experience of life has included working in a factory, a turkey farm, a mental hospital, sweeping streets and emptying dustbins.

He graduated from Loughborough University and spent 12 years as a teacher before getting involved in business. He has spoken to all types of groups from children to chief executives. He believes that in life, you are either teaching a lesson, or learning a lesson.
Frustrated by the lack of clarity in management, he wrote his first book, “Insights for a 21st Century Manager”
He is not a celebrity.
He has no Olympic Gold medal. He hasn`t climbed Everest.
But he gives people the belief that they can change; that they have choices. He believes that not everyone can be an Olympic champion, but they can do a personal best. Not everyone can be a leader on the world stage, but they can be a leader in their community and family. Not everyone can be a famous celebrity or model, but they can be a role model for someone. They may not climb Everest, but they will have their own “mountains” to climb.
